Flexible top and camera LED lighting holders for 3D printer (Ender 3 Pro)
thingiverse
This is my most significant realization about lighting for my Ender 3. I bought these flexible USB powered LED lights for less than $2 each. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32617673219.html With a knife, I carefully cut open the light assembly and removed the USB connector to connect directly to the wiring. However, it turned out to be more challenging than I anticipated. The wires were extremely fragile, and during manipulation, I accidentally broke them. Ultimately, I disassembled the entire light (by pulling), then used a 2mm drill to clean the remaining resin at the beginning of the flexible hose and replaced the wires with longer new ones. The rest of the assembly proceeded as planned. Carefully screw the flexible hoses into the printed holder, solder the wires together with switch KCD11-101. Before pushing the switch in, you need to first secure the holder to the frame using an M4x8 screw + slot nut. There are also two small holes from the sides for screwdrivers, allowing for easy removal of the switch if needed in the future. The second holder, designed for a single light next to the camera, is intended to be used with my remix of the camera mount. The assembly steps are similar, requiring fixation with two M3x12 + nuts. The easiest print orientation can be found in the STL file.
