Flexible Puzzle Cube
thingiverse
When I was a kid, my grandfather made this wooden puzzle for me. Now, decades later, people will pay too much for plastic versions. It's an easy design that provides hours of entertainment. I recommend a 12-piece puzzle with even-numbered colors between two and six. Use a 2mm stretch cord with double knots at each end. ### What You Need: - 3D printed cubes in various configurations, such as 12 pieces, but feel free to experiment for larger puzzles. - A 2mm stretch elastic cord. ### How to Assemble It - Thread the cube through the center hole in the order you prefer. The direction of the cube doesn't matter. - Create a secure knot on one side that's bigger than the central hole. - Pull out most of the slack, leaving enough room for 1-2mm between pieces when both knots are tightened. - Tie the other end with another knot.
