Flexible Propeller Hub (FPV Drone)
thingiverse
Single-piece triblade propeller hub designed specifically for 5" size quadcopter blades, optimized for 3D printing with TPU. Printed using Sainsmart TPU on a Creality CR10 with a glass bed and 0.6 nozzle, yielding impressive results. Static test conducted with DALprop T5040C blades attached to a 2835 1160kv motor, powered by a 4S (~16v) LiPo battery. The outcome was promising, achieving potential success at around half throttle, but unfortunately failing at full throttle as seen in the last photo. For more detailed information, watch the linked video here: https://youtu.be/dNKWM1hJk5w Caution: This design is for advanced users only and should be used with extreme caution. The use of flexible 3D printable materials may not provide sufficient strength to keep the propellers securely attached during rotation.
