This guide is designed for Type A Machines Series 1 printers, fitting between the pinch wheels and aluminum block. It helps prevent mis-feeds caused by inflexible PLA not being pushed through the extruder. The guide can be left installed while running either flexible or traditional PLA. For a clean fit, use a 5/64" drill bit to remove any deformation in the filament hole after printing.
