Flexible Octopus

To print an adaptable octopus, utilize the Flexion Extruder at a speed of 70mm/sec with Ninjaflex. This version features flexibility, built upon previous modifications. It was successfully printed on a Makerbot Replicator using new TPE filament (http://www.fennerdrives.com/3D). Watch the video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpkvHo6a888) for demonstration. The printer used was a Makerbot Replicator (original version with MK8 spring-loaded extruder upgrade). Set the extruder temperature to 215°C, and use room temp, bare aluminum, or Kapton tape as platform. Default Replicator settings work well, but optimal results were achieved after tweaking retraction settings. In Skeinforge's Dimension tab, set Minimum Travel for Retraction to 1.0mm and Retraction Distance to 2.0mm.
