Flexible Mount Head for Microphone Wind Screen (9mm Connector)

We've invested three years building our own VR content company (http://www.redironlabs.com). Throughout this time, we've created numerous custom parts for various projects. It's time to share those here for everyone. This particular part is somewhat unusual and likely not essential for most people. I was about to discard it but then realized it might still be useful. It's a flexible connector from a Chinese manufacturer designed for an audio pop or wind screen on a microphone. Their unique connector features 9mm -> 5mm -> 9mm head, with the 5mm section being approximately 2mm tall. Instead of throwing it away, I thought this part could serve as a small camera or mic holder. It should work well with most standard webcams that have a tripod mount on the bottom. For reference, similar flexible arms are available for purchase (Example: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Dual-Layer-Studio-Recording-Microphone-Mic-Wind-Screen-Pop-Filter-Mask-Shied/183170371533). These flexible microphone pop wind screens also make handy little mounts. Included with this part is a small plastic bolt-like item. Simply apply some tape or a similar grip-enhancing material to the plastic bolt for secure attachment.
