23-Mar-2020 Updated Stitch Howto Video and Photo

21-Mar-2020 Updated Main STL to V5
Happy Valentine's Day! Yet another easy-to-make and usable mask. ===================================================== (---- Notice ----)
Why I Won't Design This Mask for Printing in PLA or PETG?
I get a lot of requests to convert this design for printing in PLA or PETG. Sorry, but I won't do that, and here's why: In my experience, PLA and PETG are too dangerous to wear on your face. If a PLA or PETG mask cracks, especially when printed with thin walls, it can cut your skin like a knife. It may not happen right away, but it will happen eventually, maybe while you're talking, and it will be sudden. Thin-walled PLA and PETG will fatigue much faster than TPU when washed, dragged, or pulled in daily use. Maybe something hits your mask while you're wearing it, and it splits or shatters. Let's take a look at poor Kevin in the following videos: For Part 1 in PLA, go here: https://youtu.be/ErP28uP4mVI For Part 2 in PLA, go here: https://youtu.be/LlN01EW9ORI For Part 3 in ABS, go here: https://youtu.be/feWsPd2XUFU For Part 4 in PET-G, go here: https://youtu.be/k-KhRx73NxU That's why I don't want to convert this design for use with PLA/PETG. It's for your safety. ===================================================== (--- Disclaimer ---) Print and use it at your own risk. This mask uses up to 2mm thickness Ply Filter. The mask weighs 20 grams. I made this for the community, during the shortage of surgical masks due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The Italian Opensource Mask Team Posts My Design Everywhere with Wrong Instructions
I'm now updating the STL to make it universal for almost any head circumference. I hope they'll remove their reposted design and incorrect instructions and stop misleading people one day. Read my profile page if you want to redistribute my design materials to others, free or for commercial use. Personally, I prefer the latest release of Flexible Mask Valvy. Good luck everyone and my loves. STL size based on a 58cm head circumference (refer to photo of T800 for measurement). Just scale in slicer by 1/58*[your figure]. Looking for a 3D printed air purifier device?
