Flexible mask ear relief. Flexible even with PLA
thingiverse
My wife works as a nurse in the ER and she complained that the common behind-the-head mask loop design keeps breaking, so I created one that's more flexible without relying on TPU. This new design prints incredibly fast - just 9 minutes on my printer - and uses a minimal amount of filament. I've sent several batches to the hospital where my wife works, as well as some to a friend who's employed at an Amazon warehouse, asking for their honest feedback. They all agree that this design is excellent. The slim design makes it easy to mail them in standard envelopes if you know someone in need. Print with 100% infill, layer height set to 0.3mm, and first layer thickness at 0.32mm. If you come up with any improvements, I'd love to hear about them. Thanks for your interest!
