In various countries, owning an e-scooter requires a license plate and insurance. Some owners have experimented with custom designs for their Xiaomi Mijia Scooters, however these modifications did not yield the desired results. One design consists of two interlocking pieces. The larger component, printed from flexible material, is nearly indestructible due to its elasticity. In contrast, the smaller piece, fabricated from stiff materials like PETG, prevents bending of the license sticker and serves as a protective layer. This second part is optional; users can choose to omit it if they find the flexible segment too pliable. The two parts are snapped together without requiring any adhesive for assembly. As an alternative, users can print the entire license plate holder from PETG or ABS materials using a single piece design labeled "M365_LicPlate_fullPETG." This option provides a simple solution but comes with a caveat: it may be prone to damage if subjected to impact or stored in a confined space like a car trunk. Installation involves: Removing the tail light Inserting the flexible component into its place Securing the assembly using longer screws (such as M3x25) without cutting or removing any cables.
