Flexible Landing Gear for Quadcopter "Crossfire" Version 3
cults3d
Further enhanced version of my adjustable landing gear for MikeyB's quadcopter "Crossfire" or my variant "Crossfire Mini". Compatibility with Crossfire 2 is currently being tested. After rough landings, even the upgraded version of my flexible landing gears failed. I located and corrected the weak areas, resulting in a highly stable design. In comparison to versions 1 and 2, it's now printed with the part facing downwards. The section connecting to the quadcopter's arms has been redesigned for improved stability. The flexibility of the "bended double leg" remains unchanged, as it proved successful. However, I had to relocate the ball at the end due to the "upside down" redesign. The holders for M3.5-M4 nuts are still present, but please adjust their size to fit your specific nuts! Their distance from the bottom plate has increased, ensuring that your screws protrude at least 12mm (1/2in) from the bottom plate.
