Flexible joints for InMoov's fingers

thingiverse

These are custom-made fingers for the InMoov hand, featuring flexible joints that allow for a full range of motion. This project is still in development, but it's already showing great promise - the fingers close and grip objects with ease. To get started, simply download and print all of the required files. You'll also need to download and print either the original finger tips or reuse them if you've already printed a set. Next, print 14 hinges using flexible filament - any type will work, but I used 2 shells with 75% infill for optimal results. Once you have your hinges ready, remove the original finger hinges from the hand and attach the Finger-Adapters in their place. Then, string the fingers as designed, followed by attaching the custom-made tips. With these simple steps, you'll be on your way to creating a fully functional InMoov hand. Have fun experimenting with this project! For more information, check out this video: https://youtu.be/i7QKrtV81Mo
