Check out this YouTube video showcasing PLA's flexibility as a material for sliding doors and lamp screens! In the concept, the door has a flexible bottom at 0.3mm thickness, with ribs measuring 3mm wide and 3mm high (total height of 3.3mm) spaced 1mm apart. The flexible part consists of three layers printed at a layer height of 0.1mm, while other parts can be printed using your default layer height (0.3mm for the creator). This door was successfully printed on an Ultimaker, but may also work on other machines.
