Flexible Filament Spool Holder with Ball Bearings

Flexible Filament Spool Holder with Ball Bearings

I wanted to design a low-friction filament spool holder that I could use flexibly with different spools, all having the same diameter of 20cm but varying widths. Also, I had some ball bearings with one-sided rims from Amazon that I wanted to utilize. Initially, I thought about printing an additional base plate with parallel slots in various widths for my holders. This way, I could just slide the holders into predefined slots for different spools, ensuring they stay at the same distance. However, it turned out this was not necessary as the spool fits well within the bearings inside the rims. You will need to print two items of these. Print Settings: Printer: Geeetech I3 Pro (Prusa i3 based) Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 5% Notes: PLA, 70° heat bed, 210° extruder, 0.3 nozzle
