Flexible Extruder Upgrade with Nut for Creality CR10, Ender
thingiverse
Extruder plates equipped with a plastic PTFE fitting hole will inevitably seize and collapse over time. This revised design employs an M6 nut to secure the fitting firmly, providing a more durable solution. I also aimed to utilize flexible filaments without relying on the small PTFE insert commonly found in other versions. This adaptation closes gaps in the filament path, preventing flexible filament from curling or misaligning. Made several minor modifications: - The filament hole was enlarged slightly to prevent jamming. - The opening of the filament hole was flared slightly to facilitate smooth filament flow. This setup has performed well on my printers with various types of filaments.
