Flexible Bike Smartphone Mount
thingiverse
**20-04-23 Update:** Added a printable thumbscrew bit for use with an M5 hex head bolt. Alternatively, you can use an M5 countersunk head bolt without the thumbscrew. A flexible smartphone holder is designed to fit on a motorbike handlebar. It holds your phone tightly and also absorbs shocks so it can be used on MTB trails. My old commercial holder broke, but this one works very well so far. **Additional required items:** 1x M5x25 bolt with countersunk head or hex head if you want to use the thumbscrew 1x M5 nut 2x M4x10 bolts with countersunk heads 2x M4 nuts 1x piece of old bike tube to fit between the clamp and the bar **Includes the following sizes:** Bar clamps for 32mm, 26mm, and 22mm bar diameters Flexible bits for 6", 5", and 4" phones Fusion 360 source is included. Post your creations! ### Don't skip the print instructions: - **The green bit must be printed in flexible TPU.** - **The orange clamp must be printed in PETG.** PLA is too brittle and would simply snap. - The clamp must be printed horizontally, as shown on the slicer picture. Otherwise it will snap. - Print the thumbscrew slowly to make the layer bonding strong.
