Flexible Battery Holders
thingiverse
I required some battery holders for my electronics projects, but I didn't have any connectors that other battery holders like https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:456900 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:331394 use, so I decided to design my own CAD battery holders with tin (or aluminum) strips as contacts for the batteries. This is what I came up with. If you need a holder for a different type of battery, just use Meshmixer to resize it. Keep in mind that this will either shrink or enlarge the ends, which can make the final product less flexible or durable. To change the size of your new battery holder, open up Meshmixer and follow these steps: import 'battery holder AA.stl', edit > transform, uncheck uniform scale option, divide your battery's diameter by 14 and enter that result into the Z and Y axis scales, divide the height of your battery by 50 and enter that result into the X axis scale, then export your new design.
With this file you will be able to print Flexible Battery Holders with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Flexible Battery Holders .
