Used for sealing gaps, I'm utilizing it to make my Prusa i3 enclosure airtight by placing it between the plexiglass and IKEA LACK table. For an IKEA LACK enclosure, 35% scale works well. Next, scale the X-axis as needed. To achieve a secure seal, flexible material is highly recommended for this application.
