Flexi Luna Moth

Adorable Luna Moth Mostly print-in-place design. Working on this little buddy was a total blast! Messing around with the wing joints was a whole three days of fun. Hope you'll enjoy printing it! As usual, I've thrown in pre-painted 3MF files for your convenience. I've tested those wing joints extensively to get them just right. But here's the deal: before you dive into a multicolor print, I'd suggest giving it a shot in a single color first. Every printer has its quirks, you know? So, you might need to tweak the wing size by a smidge, say, +-1 percent, to get it perfect. Printing in a single color first will help you nail down that sweet spot for the wing joints. Antennae needs to be Super Glued with the Head. The wing's Bottom surface should be up while sapping with the Body.Once Snapped with the Body it is recommended not to de-attach the wings to avoid joint breakage. For the filament, PLA+ is your buddy when it comes to ball joints.Silk filament? Not so much. It's a bit more brittle than your regular PLA+.
