Flexi Fidget Hand Spinner

Flexi Fidget Hand Spinner

Inspired by the suspension design of mini monster trucks, I decided to give my ball spinners some flexibility. Still quite stiff, but thinner "springs" might make it too fragile. Based on D13mm stainless steel balls, which snap into place easily. This project requires one 608 skate ball bearing and six balls. Model units are in millimeters. The first attempt/design is included in the file called "flexi.stl." ***EDIT September 6, 2017*** New STL models have been added: * "Spinner-Flexi_2_slim" with thinner walls for more flexibility (untested) * "Spinner-Flexi_2_inch" for 1/2" (12.7mm) balls (untested) * "Spinner-Flexi_2_slim_inch" (untested) ***EDIT August 10, 2017*** New STL models have been added: * "Spinner-Flexi_2_tight" with normal walls and more embracing ball pockets (untested) * "Spinner-Flexi_2_tight" for 1/2" (12.7mm) balls (untested)
