Flexi Burger
prusaprinters

When a coworker's 4 year old commented that my green flexi-frog looked like a piece of lettuce flopping around, the idea for the Flexi-Burger was born. Why does the world need a flexible burger? Who knows, but all our kid (and adult) testers so far seem to love it so here it is.

Comes with burger patty, top & bottom buns (with or without sesame seeds), cheese slice, Swiss cheese slice, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and a slice of bacon.

Pieces range from 60mm - 80mm when printed at 100%. Most parts are 4-6mm tall, with the top bun being 15mm tall.

This was a fun way to use up some of my filament of the month sample boxes. All parts should print without supports. I did a pause and color change (M600) on the top layers of a few pieces for fun and to add some visual interest. The sesame seeds on the buns were painted with a dab of non-toxic craft paint to make them pop.

Print Settings

Printer:

Hypercube300

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.2

Infill:

20%

Filament: Various (mostly AIO Robotics) PLA Various colors

Notes:

Print without supports, or a brim for best results.
Below are the filaments I used. That has been a great purchase for lots of different colors when I was just starting out in 3D printing about 2 years ago. I still use them almost daily.

Post-Printing

Most parts should be flexible right off the build plate. I did have to work a few of the joints loose depending on how well the material printed the joint in place.

How I Designed This

Mostly designed in Tinkercad, with some help from CorelDRAW, Fusion 360, & Meshmixer.

Category: Toys & Games
