<p>This is a remix of <a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/36068-ancient-guardian-articulated-from-zelda-botw">Crafty Sven's excellent articulated Guardian</a>! Just like the original, it prints without supports.</p><p>When I first printed the original model, I was honestly surprised that the head isn't designed to move - because most of the geometry necessary for the ball joint is already there thanks to the underlying "Ancient Core". So getting the head to rotate was basically just a matter of chopping it off and connecting it to the core :)</p><p>I also tweaked the overall proportions a little bit and remodeled the claws to more closely match the Guardian's in-game design. They are a bit of a torture test for your printer now, but definitely printable. Enjoy.</p><p>Edit: Added a version that I set up to print in 5 colors using PrusaSlicer's awesome new multimaterial painting feature.</p>
