FlexCar With 3D Printed Parts

FlexCar With 3D Printed Parts We still use the PCBA of Flexbot to serve as the electronic part. I bought the metal gear set with built-in motor, which worked well. The size is 24 x 12 x 10 MM, rather small and with much less noise. The only limitation is that the power is not large enough. The rotating speed under 3V voltage is 500r/min without load, and the speed reducing ratio is 1/30. Well, I’m still looking for gear set with built-in motor that has more motivation power. Working Mechanism: The motors are brush motors thus the rotating direction depends on the electronics. It’s quite hard to enable the motor to rotate in reverse via slight changes in programs, therefore, the wheels can’t move in one direction at the same time. We changed the software a little bit so that the two front wheels can move forward and the two back wheels will move backwards. In this way, FlexCar can be easily controlled via Flexbot copter App. I’m thinking about renewing the Flexbot App to get a fantastic FlexCar App. I guess it would rather simple and only some small changes need to be made. Except from the battery, PCBA and motors, all the other components are 3D printed. More cool shell and chassis designs will come along. I’m doing my work : ) Well, the models are also on GrabCAD, open for improvement https://grabcad.com/library/flexcar-with-3d-printed-parts-1 Any ideas or suggestions, share with me please. I’d love to see
