FlexCar With 3D Printed Parts We utilize the PCBA of Flexbot as our electronic component. I purchased a metal gear set with built-in motor that works efficiently. The size is 24 x 12 x 10 MM, relatively small and produces much less noise. However, the power is insufficient. At 3V voltage, the rotating speed without load is 500r/min, and the speed reducing ratio is 1/30. I continue to search for a gear set with built-in motor that has more powerful motivation. Working Mechanism: The motors are brush motors; thus, the rotating direction depends on the electronics. It's challenging to enable the motor to rotate in reverse through slight changes in programs, so the wheels cannot move in one direction simultaneously. We adjusted the software slightly so that the two front wheels can move forward while the two back wheels move backward. In this way, FlexCar is easily controlled via the Flexbot copter App. I'm considering renewing the Flexbot App to create a fantastic FlexCar App. I believe it would be simple and only minor changes are necessary. Except for the battery, PCBA, and motors, all other components are 3D printed. Additional cool shell and chassis designs will follow soon. I'm working diligently on my project. The models are also available on GrabCAD, open to improvement: https://grabcad.com/library/flexcar-with-3d-printed-parts-1 Any ideas or suggestions? Please share with me; I'd love to see them.
