Flexbox - svg
thingiverse
A flexbox template, also known as flex box or flex-box, can be created using an .svg file in Inkscape. This versatile design allows you to create boxes of different sizes without needing glue – it holds itself together! It's based on bdahlem's parametric flexbox. To use the flexbox.svg file, download and open it in a drawing program like Inkscape. The default settings will make a 76x76x30 mm box using 3mm material (ply or MDF). You can adjust the size as desired. Export the file in a format compatible with your laser cutter and set appropriate power and speed settings. Laser-cut your chosen material, then follow these steps to construct your box: Place the base on a flat surface, attach the flexible strip from the center of the rear side towards the front, followed by attaching the top, starting from the rear as well. Finally, admire your well-crafted box!
