**Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with Flex3Drive Ltd. or Mutely3D** I'm just a random customer who's sharing this free public domain model. No warranties, no guarantees - the usual stuff applies. -------- The Flex3Drive for Ultimaker Original comes with a motor mount that requires drilling four holes in some unspecified location. I wanted to keep using my old motor-mount-slots on the upper left of the back of the Ultimaker. So I made this adapter piece. **Assembly Instructions:** + First, screw the two hook parts onto the back of the Flex3Drive motor mount with concave sides facing each other (inward-pointing). Note that the hooks are asymmetric to avoid the axle cap, so make sure the longer sides face the center of the printer's backwall. + With the Flex3Drive motor mount in place, push the four prongs of the two firmly screwed-on mounted hooks through the four motor mount slots on the Ultimaker's backwall. + On the other side: Push the wedge from right to left (looking from the front of the printer). The locking pin slot should face away from you and towards the Ultimaker's backwall. + Optionally, if friction is insufficient or not trusted, bend a piece of 3mm filament (or something else) into an L-shape and use it as a locking pin. -------- If you're curious about print quality with Flex3Drive: Here are two of my earliest prints with the system: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2946210 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2949748 I'll eventually upload a video on how to set this up (hardware and software-wise) and link it here. So, if you're interested, check back in a few weeks from now (June 12th, 2018).
