Flex3Drive Dual mount for d-bot

An experimental merge of the D-Bot's E3D hot end carriage side bracket and a simple U shaped bracket to hold one of the excellent Flex3drive Dual remote direct drive units. The first version without a BLTouch mount worked fine, but I had issues with a 330x330 bed D-Bot and leveling, and occasionally cooling parts hitting the top of the z-screws. In the second version, I raised the flex3drive mount by 10mm as it gave me more Z movement, and meant my cooling wasn't going to hit the top of the Z screws. I also added a BLTouch. In Klipper, I use a z_offset of 0.38mm, and when I slide a thick sheet of paper underneath the nozzles they grab just a little. First layers go down like a dream. I'm currently using a part printed in PLA at 80% infill with 5 perimeters, and it seems to be strong enough. I don't seem to get any ringing or other artifacts when printing as fast as 100mm/s. A PETG test print also produced a very strong part but I've not mounted it. The easiest way to build this together is to: 1) Mount the BLTouch, cable on the outside. 2) Mount the piece onto the D-Bot carriage. 3) Assemble the flex3drive, with hot ends mounted and aligned. 4) Slide the assembled extruder/hotend setup onto the mount. 5) Do up the screws holding the flex3drive in place. 6) Confirm z_offset for the BLTouch however your firmware of choice does it. For heat sink cooling, I've simply clipped on two of the E3D cooling fans turned out a little. I've been thinking through other approaches which I'll experiment with another time. Have a look at keales' The Diablo (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2329245) for extra components that'll help keep your setup neat. I like to see good ideas succeed, so go check out https://flex3drive.com/product/flex3drive-dual-hotend/ for more information on the product itself.
