Flex3 5G Drive Ender3/ CR10

I've got an Ender 3 and really liked the idea behind the Flex3 drive system - this has to be the lightest direct drive system for any printer, check it out at https://flex3drive.com. The problem is that I wanted to change my cooling fan setup to use a Fang but keep the ABL on the left side of the nozzle. By remixing the Zesty system, I've been able to make a solid fixing to the X axis by merging the Flex3 drive base into the mount. On assembly, I used a small length of Bowden tube under the assembly - depends on your setup. The Fang has an adaptor that will take the stock fan, but this can easily be remixed to take any cooling fan without having to print a new Fang. Supports are required, but make sure you use a support blocker where the fan insides are. After printing, use the Flex3 supplied heat-serts and carefully melt them into the top 3 holes - this allows the complete Flex3 housing to screw to the mount giving a good strong solid structure. The standard part cooling fan mount may need a small file running through the groove. I use the standard Creality metal ABL mount, but there should be enough room for a printed version like the TH3D version. If you try the version I've uploaded, I suggest you fit it to the mounting before you insert the heat-serts as one of them may be in the way - this too could cause a problem, I haven't tried it. Good luck!
