Flex-Z: Flexible Shoe
thingiverse
The shoe is called Flex-Z, designed to maximize flexibility and efficiency while working around the limitations of PLA plastic printing filament. Most 3D printed shoes do not provide comfortable wear due to these limitations. This shoe targets a wide range of people by being unisex and size-adjustable for different ages. Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Infill: 20 Notes: Sole: For the best printing results, print the sole with its Z-stretchy part facing down on the platform. Strips: Lay the strip sideways to achieve a flat surface on both sides. Scaling: To size the shoe for US 9, I scaled the sole to 255 mm in the y-direction and the front strip to 96 mm in the x-direction, with the back strip at 108 mm.
