Flex'Y Extruder

Flex'Y Extruder

I've been tinkering with my remote extruder for nearly two years now. It began life twice its current size, initially a dual-extruder setup that later evolved into a single-extruder design. After extensive testing, I'm convinced it's an exceptional little extruder. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5YzONIDYWg Currently, my designs are limited to Delta configurations, but adapting it for use in Cartesian/CoreXY systems wouldn't be overly complicated. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the hatch/hatchless models. In my experience, E3D hotends and Microswiss nozzles work seamlessly with my extruder, but I've had issues with cheaper alternatives causing jams. I have a surplus of parts, enough to assemble ten units in various configurations, so I'm now considering how best to share them. You can either purchase from me on Ebay or contact me directly if you're interested. The 45:1 gear ratio necessitates the use of a stepper multiplier for the extruder's stepper motor, which I designed some time ago: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2380353 While it might be possible to print without one, using a stepper multiplier significantly improves quick retraction performance. If you'd like to see my current setup in action, you can find a wealth of videos on my YouTube channel, where I document my printing experiences – often with some rather... enthusiastic commentary.
