Flex Wallet
thingiverse
I know lots of other people on here have designed wallets using flexible filaments, but none of them quite met my requirements, so a while back I created my own. Most wallets I saw only had room for one card in each pocket, which wasn't sufficient for someone like me who has far too many cards to carry around, so I designed one with wider pockets that allow it to flex more and hold more cards. I also incorporated a built-in support system to keep the wallet from flexing excessively side-to-side during printing. I had a tendency to get banding due to the nozzle dragging on the filament as it was printing, so I added those "towers" which are wide enough to stabilize that back-and-forth motion. These will need to be removed after printing - don't try to rip them off, as they can leave unsightly marks if you do! Additionally, there are connections between the wallet's flaps, serving the same purpose and requiring removal too. This design is intended to benefit others; it has been working well for me so far. I've also uploaded a f3d file that allows people to edit it in Fusion 360 - users can add their own designs to the sides of the wallet, which is what I did with mine.
With this file you will be able to print Flex Wallet with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Flex Wallet.
