Flex Shaft Bench Mount

Flex Shaft Bench Mount

thingiverse

Designed to hold the business end of a Foredom tool to free both hands for the work. The base is reinforced on one edge and one end so it can be clamped to a workbench. Extra holes are provided so the pedestal can be rotated 90 degrees. All holes should be tapped M5. Use an M5 x 25mm bolt in the center hole with washers to spread the load. This is long enough that a nut can be used to attach the pedestal securely. The outer two bolts should also be attached with washers; 15mm bolts are plenty long enough. The top clamp can be attached with M5 x 15mm bolts. On top of the clamp use an M5 x 10mm bolt to **gently** secure the handpiece. --If you can't afford a Foredom there's a good knockoff available here: https://www.sciplus.com/variable-speed-flex-shaft-grinder-43486-p
