A Simple Storage Hanger for Flex Plates. There are two versions available: one designed for 5.3x51.mm BOM heated inserts, and another for McMaster P/N: 94459A130, 4.7x4.3mm inserts. Included is a small drilling guide that can be used with both variants. The current design features three plate slots but can easily be modified or remixed to accommodate more if needed. To access the Fusion 360 project file, click here. Print two hangers and one guide. Place the hangers on a flex sheet and determine where you want to position the plates on the side panel. Mark one corner of the front bracket with a paint marker or similar. Draw another horizontal line where you intend to place the rear hanger using a straight edge or laser level to ensure alignment. Line up the drill guide with the marks made, then insert an M3 bolt through the guide and the first hole drilled to hold it in place when drilling the second. Mount the hangers to the side panel with M3 bolts. Anything between 8-12mm should work well.
