Flex Lok Finger
thingiverse
This is a prosthetic finger pair suitable where the entire finger, beyond the knuckle, is missing. In this case an index and middle finger, but the design could be adapted for any single finger, or combination of fingers. The fingers are bent to the grip position using the other hand, or by pushing against a surface and lock in position. They are released by pushing the sliders on the back of the palm. See explanation below for how it works. The hand model was taken from Makehuman (http://www.makehumancommunity.org/).
