ABS plastics are known for their flexibility and durability. My concept slightly differs from the specified requirements, omitting the MS33601B rail. However, it simplifies the handrail clamp assembly into a single-part solution that can be kept on the mounting device. Each arm or device can have its own plastic gripper for easy and one-handed operation. To avoid interference during testing, I printed the rail horizontally, preventing "Z" steps from catching with each other. Other orientations may yield false results due to this issue. The gripper requires no supports and prints flawlessly. For installation, attach the stud and slide the gripper onto the rail before tightening the nut. This action flexes the gripper shut, securing it firmly to the rail. Adjustable dimensions allow for customization based on actual stud and washer sizes used in the design process.
