Flex Coupler with Embedded Hardware
thingiverse
Human: Flexible motor coupling with embedded nuts and set screws designed specifically for the MarkForged system. STL files provided accommodate a 10mm D-shaft featuring eight embedded 8-32 nuts. Additionally, .sldprt and .step models are available to enable modifications in sizing. Thanks to Gyrobot's inspiration behind this creation. Instructions: 1. Print on your MarkForged Mark One with support material engaged. 2. Set the layer thickness to .1mm. 3. Pause print inserts after the cavities have been formed. 4. Remove support material from cavities and insert hardware accordingly. 5. Utilize copious amounts of glue (adhesive) throughout, especially on top layers, for optimal adhesion. 6. After completion of printing, submerge the component in hot water for one hour to enhance flexibility and reduce brittleness.
