Flex Chassis Slotcar
thingiverse
This is a 1/24th scale "Flexi Wedge Car", designed to take the 16D motors used in most racing slotcars. It has a torsion bar that must be glued to the body mount rails, but not to the two inner rails that hold the motor and axle. The torsion bar has two holes to run the wires through. One of two guide holders with slightly different shoe mount holes must be glued in place after making sure it will clear the body. The body is mounted with small "bread tie wires", bent and taped so they won't fall out. Lexan bodies, and other parts are available on Ebay. I've gotten parts lots that can have all the parts for less than the hobby shop. Finding the right size screws to mount the motor will be the hardest part.
