FLEX cases
thingiverse
You can find the 3 models for the MSX FLEX project developed by RBSC here. The models include the upper and lower parts of three different cases - the cartridge case, the 50-pin extender case, and the 60-pin extender case. Also included is a model for the pin on the 50-pin extender. The top covers of all three cases have the "MSX FLEX" text visible when printed with light-colored plastic. The letters are hollow and covered by a 0.2mm polygon from either side. Be careful not to damage the layer above the letters. Models are also included where their top layers are covered by a 0.2mm polygon, these models have "noholes" in their names. This method ensures high-quality surfaces on both the top and bottom of printed models since the printing head doesn't move around when printing the first layer. The necessary holes can be cut later with a sharp knife. Screw holes can be opened by gently inserting a Philips screwdriver into them. The project files are available in RBSC's Github repository at https://github.com/RBSC/FLEX. For engraving, I use the KKmoon 3000 mW laser engraver available on Amazon at https://www.amazon.de/KKmoon-Lasergravur-Werkzeuge-Automatische-Gravurfl%C3%A4che-Rot/dp/B07H3PWLNG/.
