Flex Arm Upgrade for Palette2
thingiverse
ARMLette This is my contribution to the Palette2 user community. Why? Legend has it, long ago a young man had the illusion of being able to print materials in various colors in an entertaining and satisfying way. What is it about? The design of this machine is thought and apparently designed to work with 4 input and 1 output materials; a hot core is responsible for the fusion of the materials and microswitches control the flows through algorithms and a “pings / pongs” system, but physically it is not capable of working with flexible materials due to the design of the extruders / arms of each motor. The upgrade kit does not solve anything either, because the color change of an LED and an apparently harder spring does not help much. So? This new design makes the difference to be able to work with more flexible materials than PLA; such as TPU / E, PlaFlex… (in any case, each material must be perfectly mastered and then each material fusion must be calibrated with splice tuning)
