Fletching jig - remix

This is a modification of the https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:578962 fletching jig. (The ID did not show up in the search list when I selected remix, not sure why.) I beefed up the ears on the base and increased the thickness of the arm section where it interacts with the base. This should prevent any tweaking of the ears if the screws are tightened a little too much. I also tweaked the clearance on the base for the arms, so it should not be as tight, I had to sand the arms slightly when I printed the original, this should require less fitting....... I also found that scaling the V2 clamp clamp to 101% made a better fit (not as tight / should not bind), this may also differ depending on the print material used. And lastly, I found that applying wax to the arm grooves seems to prevent any excess glue from adhering to the PLA (if that is what you print with), at least so far... Edit: made a tweak to the arm, The hole size was not optimal, this should be a better (tighter) fit with the M3x16 screw Edit 2: (version 4 files)I tweaked the base so it aligns 90deg with the cock vane (noted with the letter 'C' and the hole in the rest stop, the original had this option also on one of the versions. I added rests so that the arms are elevated at an angle when open, this seems easier to use imo. I also reduced the travel the arms have, it works fine for arrow shafts (~7.5mm OD). Some other notes when printing, for my printer/filament, I typically scale everything with .5% additional to compensate for shrinkage, so that is my base line. I tweaked the other parts to improve function from that. jig clamp ========== scale to 102.5% for X and Y (with no arrow in the jig, it floats freely, once an arrow is installed, it has plenty of grip without jamming/galling, your mileage may differ) scale to 70% for Z (a shorter clamp still works fine while giving less friction, but you can use whatever) Jig Arms ========== scale to 100.2% Jig Body ========== scale to 100.5% Edit 3: Created a left offset vane arm, Added a 'L' and 'R' marking so you know what version it is, cleaned up the base a little and added version text and cock vane markings, however printing the cock vane arm in a different colour would be more bullet proof..... Edit 4: Modified the clamp arm to allow access to the sides of the vanes when clamped. I found the previous version did tend to get extra glue along the sections of the vanes when too much glue is used. This version should only clamp the feet of the vanes, so there should be less chance for excess glue to get onto the clamp arms. I also tweaked it to allow X3 2.25" vanes to fit, the previous arm slot was too short. I also added another tweaked base, this should be an incremental improvement.....
