To demonstrate its mechanism, I created a rough model using Autodesk Inventor and provided it to students for further development. The Inventor assembly model "Fletcher Capstan Table mechanism study .iam" features a component labeled "EXPANSE ME," which triggers table expansion. Nonetheless, I simplified the skirt movement to solely showcase the concept.
