FLEE

Bit of thinking outside the box to skirt the restrictive measurements. Got some great ideas from the Naro car project, see http://www.naro.co.uk/index2.htm . I haven’t quite worked out the ideal geometry to make this work, but I believe it can be a viable design. Entry is through a door on the front of the vehicle with steering, braking and accelerator controls moved to two joysticks. the front seat can fold down and to the side to gain access to the passenger seat. The upright configuration would be limited to parking speeds for safety reasons. Drive would be through the front wheels. I would hope that the leaning suspension, as described by Naro and other manufacturers, could be implemented. I’m still working to integrate a couple stoweable, folding bicycles, so dibs on that idea! I think if you told anyone they would be cramped up in a tiny electric car with another person, they would probably run the other direction. I feel that the addition of the ’fun’ factor of the leaning suspension and robotic suspension system would see people actually relish the opportunity to get behind the wheel, or sticks as it were. As always, feedback is appreciated as are Nobel Prizes in 2 person transportation ;) .
