Flats Box ED 80

I designed this flat box to be used with my William Optics Zenithstar ED-80, which has an external diameter of 102mm at the dew cap. The internal diameter of the flat box is precisely 104mm. It was successfully tested on a TS-ED-80 and works exceptionally well. The light source is a high-quality electro-luminiscent panel measuring 100x100mm. Powered by 3V, which can be easily provided by two AA batteries, it makes for a truly portable setup. A 3mm thick polycarbonate plate with a white-translucent finish serves as the light diffuser. Measuring exactly 104x104mm, it provides optimal diffusion of the light source. Components one, two, and three, all printed parts, are carefully glued together to form a sturdy structure.
