Flatpack Sphere

Flatpack Sphere

thingiverse

Create a sphere with five faces using two dimensions in Adobe Illustrator. Seeking recommendations for tools (free preferred) that enable planar cuts through organic shapes for laser cutting. Inquire about Blender plug-ins or similar alternatives. New to Blender, so please don't apologize if the feature exists within it. Tired of managing three planes mentally and hand-drawing in Illustrator, seek an easier method. Assemble by cutting one outer circle file copy and two inner circle file copies; the process is straightforward, but glue or a snug fit is advised. Optimal for 3mm materials, tested with HDF, curious about acrylic results. Updated image provided.
