FlatMinis: Night Dog

Beyond crafting three-dimensional roleplaying pieces, I also excel as a Game Master. Many moons ago, I decided to host a Lovecraftian horror inspired game. This is one of the beasts I came up with, the Night Dog. A Night Dog resembles an emaciated canine form, featuring a large round head that opens into a wide, toothy maw. Its large eyes enable it to stalk its prey efficiently under the cover of darkness. Its feet resemble those of a chameleon, but with the middle "finger" replaced by a sharp hooked claw. The creature tends to inhabit wooded areas and is an accomplished climber. Night Dogs are drawn to follow orbs of light. These orbs are incredibly delicate, instantly "popping" upon contact with a solid object. The orbs of light are attracted to living creatures, allowing the Night Dogs to locate their prey effectively. Night Dog encounters typically unfold in this manner: strange orbs of light appear, and the party's curiosity and paranoia spike. They then pop all the orbs, assuming them gone, prompting the Night Dogs to launch a surprise attack. In subsequent encounters, the players are extremely cautious, safeguarding the orbs to prevent another surprise attack. I adapted these creatures for dutchmogul's Wayfarer System, incorporating the stats below: STR 3, DEX 4, BUL 2, AGI 4, END 3, REA 2, PER 3, WIL 2, CRE 2, CHA 2 POW 2, FOR 2, CRD 3, ACT 3, SPD 6, MAS 4, APT 2 Natural Weapon: Fangs 4, Natural Weapon: Claw 3, Night Vision 4, Light Sensitivity 4 Athletics 2 (+6), Detect 3 (+6), Melee 3 (+6) Acrobatics 4 (+10), Run 4 (+10), Stealth 3 (+9), Alertness 3 (+9), Natural Weapon 4 (+10) In short: a creepy, weird dog creature.
