I designed this cup holder for my uncle and I am thrilled with the result. \r\n\r\nTo create it, I printed two different versions: the base and the pulleys/belt. Then, I glued them together. I did not add a brim to the base print. Additionally, I printed the base with supports on the bed only, as well as the built-in supports within the model itself. You can use side cutters to remove the built-in supports. \r\n\r\nRegarding built-in supports, in one of my photos I circled a defect in the print. The support had fallen over for this section and I'm not sure if it was due to too fast infill speed, insufficient support size, or lack of brim. In the STL file I uploaded, I made the base of the support much larger to prevent this issue from occurring in future prints. Since gluing on the pulleys covers up the defect and a lot of PLA was used for this model, I will not be reprinting it. However, if you do print it, I would greatly appreciate it if you could let me know how it turns out. \r\n\r\nThe Ender 3 has a notorious heavy bed, so when printing with triangular infill and increasing the speed too much, the bed can get out of alignment mid-print. This resulted in a small line on my print that I had to pause and relevel the bed to fix. So, if you're printing this model with triangular infill, be sure to keep your speeds reasonable to avoid this issue. In contrast, I usually print gyroid infill at high speeds without any issues. This was the first time using triangular infill and it caused the bed to shake excessively, which might also indicate that my springs need to be replaced. \r\n\r\nThis model is based on an amazing design from Thingiverse:\r\nhttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2554215\r\n\r\nIf you'd like to support my work, I would never decline a spool of PLA :)\r\nhttps://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2A1T1YEQMIIIP?ref_=wl_share
