I was looking for a unique visual style for Dutchmogul's outstanding sci-fi terrain tiles, which can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:703514. To create these, I simply overlaid the existing walls with beveled boxes. This method may not be particularly artistic, but it does result in faster print times and reduced plastic usage due to decreased surface area. Update: I have also added Dutchmogul's conveyance tiles, which include ladders and stairs.
