Flat Tripod Base or Water Splitter
thingiverse
I wanted to build a simple flat tripod stand. I aimed for the legs to lie flat on the floor, extending outward from the base to provide additional support for the pole. The design is meant as an extra reinforcement between two posters, so it doesn't require much structure. I made it adaptable so I could add more than three legs and discovered its potential use extends far beyond that initial intention. If you scale down the leg size and adjust the number to ten, it can be used to split a water hose for irrigating plants or other gardening purposes. All positive features are incorporated before any negative aspects are subtracted, resulting in clear water channels within the device. This design allows for easy experimentation with different parameters. It's great fun to work with and modify as needed.
