Flat Teardrop
thingiverse
The Teardrop shape is employed during printing to prevent overhangs exceeding 45 degrees at hole tops, which are difficult to print on FDM printers without support material. However, the downside of teardrops is their space consumption, especially when the main object has size restrictions. Flat Teardrops resolve this issue by cutting off excess space in the tip, utilizing that reasonable-length bridges aren't a problem in 3D printing.
