Flat Surface GoPro Mount Interface
thingiverse
This is an uncomplicated connection between a flat surface, roughly the size of a credit card, and a GoPro-compatible mount on the other side. Note: The interface only replicates one side, the camera side; the fixture side has three tabs and secures the M5 nut. Cell Phone Mount To create a straightforward cell phone holder, I bonded a silicone phone protector to the flat surface using adhesive. I should have chosen cyanoacrylate glue with caution because it took quite some time for it to set completely (I did not use an accelerator) and the fumes emitted by the CA evaporated quickly, discoloring the black ABS slightly and leaving it with a grayish tint. This mount features three through holes situated between the GoPro interface and the flat surface - two are parallel and depicted in the photo while the third is perpendicular to them. Their purpose is to accommodate small cable ties that keep cables from your phone routed closer to the pivoting axis. Given the mount's stability, it should also support a 7-inch tablet if you use a flexible silicone protector; however, using a hard case would compromise its ability to hold the device securely.
