Initially, I was inspired by numerous Cable Chains available on Thingiverse and decided to create my own version. This design offers several benefits such as easy printing with thin walls, rapid print completion due to its height of 4.5mm, scalability, a wide range of motion, and minimal plastic usage. However, there is a disadvantage: the cable chain requires heating and bending into shape, which takes up more space on the printer's bed compared to standard Cable Chains. To print this design, follow these steps: 1) Print the Cable Chain; 2) Heat it up and bend as desired using a hot knife pressed against the plastic; 3) Connect the pieces together.
