Flat Napkin Holder - Hexagonal Style

My kids were fed up with conventional upright napkin holders that made it impossible to pull out one napkin at a time without the rest coming along due to friction. They asked me to design a flat napkin holder, and this is what I came up with. It's the perfect size for "square" napkins that are about 6"x6" (15.25cm x 15.25cm). The lovely hexagonal cut pattern along the bottom and sides gives it an airy feel, while the deep parabolic cuts on all four sides make it easy to grab napkins out. I was worried about whether the overhang from the larger hexagons would print well without supports, but they printed beautifully. There were some pesky plastic "hairs" from the gaps, but I easily sanded them off with 1500 grit paper and then washed the whole thing in warm, soapy water. My kids are absolutely thrilled! I may decide to spray paint this later with a metallic silver that I have on hand, but we'll see if it's worth the effort. I printed it in gray PLA.
